HIGHLIGHTS:
Notre Dame won 34-21, led by running back Darius Walker rushing for 160 yards and 2 TD's and Brady Quinn passing for 239 yards. The Irish put the clamps on Penn State's passing attack, as Anthony Morelli was 13 of 33 for 135 yards. However, Nittany Lion running back Tony Hunt had 17 carries for 202 yards and a touchdown, but the Irish are 2-0 as they have a showdown with Michigan next Saturday under the Golden Dome. By the way: 6'7" Notre Dame defensive tackle Aidan Fitzpatrick, brother of Philip, the former Notre Dame all-American center and Milwaukee Bucks star, had 2 sacks!
